Anam Consulting: Client Successes

Anam Consulting works with many leading companies.

Successful projects include:

Advising a US company in reducing its dependence on suppliers in China. We are seeing more of this as US companies grow increasingly wary of China’s new policies that support their state-owned enterprises. For this client, Anam Consulting performed extensive analyses on eight candidate countries for furniture manufacturing, and ultimately guided this client to potential contract manufacturing partners in Mexico. This client will maintain productive relationships with some contract partners in China, though not to the extent of dependency as before.

Developing the platform for next-generation service delivery for one of the world’s largest HVAC equipment manufacturers / service providers. Though this client is well-recognized and has a multi-billion-dollar service business, they are not immune to the pressures exerted by the shortage of skilled technical labor.

A worldwide re-branding campaign for a leading global manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders. Their previous marketing platform, including web presence, trade advertising, and visual presentations, didn’t effectively communicate the extended value this client delivered to end-users and distribution partners. We worked to develop and launch a new communications platform, including updating all web and print media to better represent their competitive differentiation, ultimately across 15 countries and in six languages. Anam Consulting coordinated with all levels of client management, as well as guided the efforts of Marketing Communications teams in the US, Europe and China.

Guiding a US manufacturer of agricultural equipment components thru the dissolution of an ineffective co-production agreement in Brazil, and into a new one.  After being ‘ghosted’ by their production partner, and after multiple attempts to discuss deteriorating quality, Anam Consulting guided this client into legal action that resulted in a favorable decision to regain ownership of production equipment and inventory. Next steps were to assist in the establishment of a co-production relationship with a new partner firm, which evolved into a joint venture.

With a key resource partner, re-positioning of a hybrid construction crane product in the North American market for one of the world’s largest manufacturers of lifting systems. This product, a portable / electric crane, was re-positioned and re-introduced as a cost-effective and versatile solution in the construction of 1-4 story facilities, and particularly where construction ‘elbow room’ is limited.

Performing an extensive business review and developing a new strategic plan that helped the technology division of North America’s second-largest commercial printer (since acquired) recast its service offering. This included a more focused service sales approach, new pricing strategy, and streamlined delivery methodology to better support customers in the US, Canada, and across northern Europe.

Developing a national marketing plan, based on extensive voice-of-the customer insights, for a manufacturer of interstate / state highway transportation display signs and warning systems. A client well-resourced to take advantage of evolving safety regulations being adopted at both the state and federal levels. Anam Consulting guided this client in the development of a model to scale these capabilities and sell / deliver / support nationally.

Providing marketing & sales expertise, and selected due-diligence support, to private equity-owned firms in the embedded computing platform, commercial ventilation, and specialty HVAC equipment markets.
